This outfit was inspired by Sézane’s new look book. I loved the simplicity of an all white look with chocolate brown hues. Instead of a shirt I chose a sweater to match the brisk mornings that Salt Lake brings. The mixing of different shades of brown is what brought this look together.
It’s simple and easy to recreate.

This Sunday has been one of the most relaxing days I have had in a while. I say this while icing my ankle with a potential tendon tear or whatever popped up on google. It was relaxing because for the first time, in a long time, it was a day that wasn’t fully planned. It was also a day without doom scrolling on social media.
My boyfriend and I had breakfast at Oasis Cafe in Salt Lake City. One of my favorite brunch spots during this time of year, because their patio is one of the most peaceful spots to eat in the valley. After dining at Oasis Cafe, you actually get 20% off a book from the bookshop that’s just next door. (It’s on your receipt!) I picked out a new book, The Age of Witches, by Louisa Morgan. I can already tell it’s going to be a good September read.
After picking up the essentials at Trader Joe’s we made our way to Asher Adam’s Autograph Collection in downtown Salt Lake to take these photos. This is one of my favorite hotels in SLC and a space that still fills the rooms with their historic charms. Just outside the hotel was the Italian Festival at Gateway. We grabbed a little drink, ate cannoli’s, and closed our eyes to the Italian music and pretended to be back in Europe.
An unplanned Sunday like this might be what the doctor orders.
